If you really want to impress someone, the trick is to show off to people that can't solve rubik's cubes. And always start off saying "i'm actually pretty slow" and when saying how long it takes you, always add 30 seconds to your average, that way you will wow them with what they may think of as a "new record" or something. Don't show off to people who can solve a cube...they don't care :(.

Construction paper wrapped in clear Duck Tape, held on with double-sided Scotch Tape, and drawn on with crayons. Works very well.
