so beautiful. i found a strange comfort in this song all of last year's winter.

truly one of the greatest songs i've ever heard. funny how they can get clouddead guesting and have bits of industrial sounding grinding and yet it can be so autumnal and melancholic. recorded in the city where i live, but with none of its aspirational, bright-lit character.

one of those bands who have just a handfull of outstanding moments across a big discography, but stuff like this and 'this is it forever' are pretty and broken and affecting. fucking wonderful.
