@hoot562 Actually, the title and the song itself depends on how you were taught it or how you heard it growing up. I was taught it back in elementary school as "have you seen the ghost of John" and I've heard it and sang it that way for years. I have heard it sung as "have you seen the ghost of Tom," but I grew up hearing John more than Tom.

@moti304 Actually, if you read my response to hoot562 you would notice that I said it can be Tom OR John depending on how you heard it growing up and were taught it. I learned it as John, but I have heard it with both names.
