  • @EarlRausch I assume the sounds of the machine gun fire was outgoing. I was at Camp Echo, as a contractor, a few months after the slideshow was made.

  • Dude I got there 4 months after ... We didn't have anything like that my whole 15 months at Echo

  • We got hit a few times while I was there but nothing like the slideshow shown here.

  • I remember those days. I went to Basrah before this but we experinced the same thing. The 1 thing I remembered about Cp. Echo was the Polish military stealing many GP'ed assets and shipping them home.

  • @mento666 son, you go to USA and watch only american`s stupid TV.. what you know about war, about the world?? NOTHING !!!!! what you know about Polish soldiers ?? NOTHING !! I`m Polish paratrtooper I was there in 2004 and 2007, my squadron from AIRBORNE (red berets) all the time were on the Ad Divanijjah streets.

    We fighted on TAMPA highwey, Al-Askarija street, Salem street, Nahda .Some soldiers was killed in action som soldiers was wounded... but what you know!!?? OK AMERICANS you live life

  • I was in Capm Echo 11 months ,in 2007 and i spent more time in the bunker than in my room, but finaly in october 2007 i move to Balad...i remember a girl from laundry ...

  • haha, just left echo a bit ago, last bit was quiet but when we were first there incoming was a daily thing

  • Those Hip & Hind helicopters in the second half of the video, are those Polish Army helicopters?
