USA: 45%
Population:
Sweeden: 10 million
USA: 310 million
Taxes are only up 15 percentage points.
But population is 31 times.
Please tell me how higher taxes in a bigger country, which would just lead to more government control, mean that higher taxes actually help?

I don't want to pay taxes...I just want a well-functioning water system, postal system, access to hospitals and emergency services, subsidized tuition, maintained roads, a little social support if I lose my job or become injured, and access to services if I am the victim of domestic violence.
