When the Green movement first started I was initially sympathetic towards its environmental policies. But over the years the party was slowly taken over by socialist elements and the environment has taken a big second place to left-wing doctrines. And that's the last thing I would support. We've had enough of the Labour Party with their disastrous economic and social policies.

Sorry I was looking for a Sian Berry video, how on earth did I arrive at a Communist party manifesto?

Go Hugo!! nice one. great animation!! Sian looks like a great choice! :)

maybe sian or any other green party member should not give interviews with people they know will portray them badly. It was obviously written with that in mind, so why give them bullets to fire?
-
I was seriously upset to see Sian backing Red Ken. He isn't a Green!! Its MUCH stronger to stick to principles & say vote Green & only Green!
I have voted Green ALL my life but I wouldn't ever use my vote for Labour! Sod em! Let them slip into obscurity where they belong!
Stick to Green principles next time & don't second guess the voters! The voters are screaming out for politicians with the integrity to do what they say & say what they'll do before the election!

sian hasn't actually got control of what people esp jounalists actually write and er The Times is er a fantastically Tory paper so howelse were they going to portray her?
-
I am disapointed reading the article by AA Gill in the Sunday Times, interviewing Sian. Why did she let herself be ridiculed by this man just before voting day?? A stronger response by her, promoting Green policies would have been more beneficial. He made the people who vote Green look like absolute weirdo's. We are never going to have an impact on the electorate if we allow ourselves to be portrayed in this way. We need to be more forthright and stop apologising for what we believe in.

thanks for your comment Bryan! I am glad you understood what we were doing with it...
get out there and vote today - it might make the sunshine come out!

I think the Greens are naifs, frankly. However, this broadcast was extremely well put together, so 5/5! (unlike the LibDems whose broadcast was shockingly bad)
I think it is great the Greens are listening to, and providing a forum, for the sorts of views you'll hear people expressing all over London about the severe difficulties faced by those on low or even "average" incomes in London.
