@dayman9 when you lock on to something if you do a side dash(they teach you this in the parasite queen fight) instead of holding onto B and the lock as soon as you dash sideways you let go of everything

in every video i hear people pushing buttons but what r u really doing to move off from ur ship to the cliff? ive seen so many videos and i dont know what to do to get the space jump boots? some say get on the edge of ur ship and lock on the vine and then just dash to the right? how do u dash or do they mean jump to the right? please help
