At a distance of 2 meters it is not advised to raise the arm high as the dog is not launching for the the bite. If you pay attention to the distance that the courage tests are being performed the helper is doing exactly as he should. I have seen this guy work dogs on full field courage tests and he is quite good. The goal of this video is not to showcase the decoy/helper, but to show the ability of a dog to switch between ring and schutzhund based on context and command.
