Fun Fact: Getting Denise Nickerson (the actress who played Violet) into the styrofoam blueberry ball was so difficult and time-consuming that, once she was in it, she had to remain in it for a total of eight hours until they finished the scene! Those eight hours also included a lunch break for the rest of the cast and crew...during which poor Denise had to stay on set and be fed soup through a straw by a stagehand (because her arms were trapped within the costume)! Poor girl!
