Real Transformers (re-edited)

Every fan of Transformers knows of the phenomenal CGI of Michael Smith, the man who proves to the world that simplistic, geometric designs can and do work for Transformers in a live-action setting.

In this famous demo of his, a young man is startled when his car transforms into an Autobot (most probably Sideswipe), but he appears startled several frames too early. Here we see him reacting AFTER the car starts transforming, edited by myself.

Everyone here in favor of the new movies .....needs a reality check. That's motherfuckin bionicle shit...not Transformers. And I think in reality...a robot would not be composed of 50000 small joints like in the movie.

Of course Bay likes saying that they look the way they do because it makes physical sense, that ever single piece fits together perfectly in both modes. And then he gives us the Pretender chick in Bayformer$ 2. Yyyyyyeah, because THAT looks like it would work in the real world, doesn't it? ;P

I like it, brings back memories. I never liked the horrors of Bayformers, they weren't never the real deal, but to each their own.
