Jimmie came to Enid Ok in 1974 and I was hooked. I saw him everytime he was in OK till '82. Kept every ticket stub and lucky to have al the vinyl. His music has touched my life for years. Thank you Jimmie.
PS anyone at the Norman show in 79-80 when the girl has the "ooooooo" at the start of the oncore?

I have not heard "Dragon Is Dancing" for like 35 years. I thought that I didn't much like it then ,but its been ringing in my mind off and on since.I'm more mature now. He really was very good.Thanks for posting this.

@Johnnymonky - I first saw him @ the Armadillo (maybe 76 or 78???). It was magical. I still have and still play all my vinyl of his work.

Along comes some God On a Velvet Wind, To Scatter The Seeds Of Spring.... I saw Jimmie in Tulsa in a very small hall back in 1979, with my hot, hungry, sweet, insatiable girlfriend Lou, and our friend Mike.. One of the sweetest weeks of my life.

@sobrcelt It's been quite a while since you posted your question, and maybe you received an answer already, but the song you were wondering about is called "Blown Out". I think I played that album until the grooves were worn down. I had an opportunity to see him live. He had an amazing presence. Another one who died too young.

@sobrcelt "Blown Out"! Great jam!

Thank you so much for posting. Saw him in Gainsville Fla 3-4 times and he was amazing
I agree with a previous poster that I am the Mercury is a beautiful song, and thanks for the lyrics from another poster!
I do not recall the name of my own favorite Jimmy Spheeris song (it's been years), but it is on Dragon, and it has that awesome guitar, and a line in it that is like, "Inside of you, great darkness is sung. Suck me in again; I love your darkness."
I LOVE that song, but I did not hear it on any of the tribute videos you posted. Can anyone help me find a copy of that song?

I'll do some research on that and maybe post when I find what song?

Nice backing from Chick Corea and Stanley Clarke on Dragon is Dancing

I knew it was Chick playing synth solo on Dragon but I forgot Stanley played on it also. I believe it was the L. Ron Hubbard connection that brought them together maybe? My favorite album of his!
