Alex also talks with Nils-Axel Morner, the former head of the Paleogeophysics and Geodynamics department at Stockholm University. He is a critic of the IPCC and the notion that the global sea level is rising.

  • Everybody knows that penguins will have nowhere to fly to in the winter if the Arctic melts.

  • But ManBearPig can't swim!!!!

  • If the NORTH POLE melted, that would threaten the penguins? Hmmm. I wonder what Aftonbladed meant with that.

Yeah sure, not all the penguin species live on the Antarctic.

But there is all kinds of other reasons that could be fatal to penguin populations if the Antarctic ice would melt. It would e.g. change the marine ecology, sea currents and their food gathering distances. If something is said to become extinct, that doesn't equal to "cannot swim".

  • And they said because that "polar bears can't swim"? I thought it was because their habitat is threatened. I read the Reuters article about the polar bears, and it said they dead polar bears have been found hundreds of miles from the coast, floating on the sea. So obviously they did not claim polar bears couldn't swim. I think that's Alex again exaggerating. It isn't uncommon from him.

  • Good!

I was answering a question from fox20012, but my comment didn't end up below his.

It's our responsibility as voters to read both sides and make up our minds ourself.

You should look this one too!: watch?v=ISWe846Y5l0&feature=related

  • It was in newspapers everywhere. Swedish "aftonbladet" for example wrote that pinguins were going to be extinct if north pole melted - but the thing is that the pinguins did exist before the ice, and they do even today live in tropical climate (peru, chile). The thing about icebears were all over the press too, you just have to open your eyes.

"Conclusions again", I think you have drawn all your conclusions. I regret answering ppl like you.

  • @clarkcolt45 His English is excellent. He is a compelling speaker . Unfortunately I cannot judge his science!

  • About "you should know that".. is that you cannot have swedish letters like å ä and ö in e-mail adress. That's about "you should know", a little bit of Swedish humor but I think he had a hard time translating it in his brain. I'm Swedish.

But well, most doktors are very good at numbers and scientific work but they have a hard time expressing themselves for ordinary people.

  • Alex always says "they say polar bears can't swim". It's in his prison site article too. But nowhere he quotes or links where this is said. I haven't found it by googling, either. Visited also Reuters site, which Alex says is the source, and searched all the polar bear news.

Could anyone give me a link? Or is Alex making conclusions again?

  • ajjajajajaj oo waaoo.... polar bears can't swim lol
