Senior Tour Auto Racers Feature Event for the Sportsman Modifieds at Seekonk Speedway. The 00 Nova Late Model Sportsman driven by Roland Cassidy won and 2nd went to Michael Sweet driving the 44VA. This car, a 1937 Chevrolet coupe cutdown Modified was built in 1958 by Buck Duval, a long time Modified stock car owner out of Forrest, Va. Equipped with a small block Chevy and drum brakes all around, it is truly a vintage race car. This car was driven by many famous NASCAR racers including Carl Burris, Perk Brown and Bobby Allison. Allison drove this car at Martinsville, Trenton and Oxford Plains Speedway.
