That some of us are naturally more prone to putting on weight than others is hardly a contentious issue, more like stating the blindingly obvious. Of course there is a genetic component to obesity, just as there is to asthma, diabetes, heart disease, cancer...and so on. What we really want to know is what the non-genetic causes are. If an ailment is on the increase then it is the NON-genetic cause that has caused that increase, not the genetic, because THE GENE POOL REMAINS CONSTANT.

my mom is naturally underweight and my dad is overweight.

my dads dad was overweight.

my moms mom was naturally underweight.

soo im a healthy 117 pounds! healthy balance, lol
