@EpicSubscriber Believe it or not I think there were a lot of republicans who voted for Brown. I wouldn't call myself republican but I'm def on the right. Choosing between Brown or Whitman for me was a 'no brainer', Whitman is spineless, Brown is confident and balanced. I mean how many liberals do you know who are for protecting the 2nd amendment?!? I don't like his past record, but I think he is the best man for the job. I hope he doesn't dissapoint!

I never doubted he would win. Not one minute. I did whatever I could to help as did so many other grassroots activists. Jerry is a Governor of and for the people.

Nobody gave Jerry a chance. Meg Whitman had too much money & the Dems like S.F. Mayor Gavin Newsom (who opted for Lt. Governor) balked at trying to compete with her. But Jerry was like the proverbial tortoise in a race with the hare. He ran the most savvy political campaign in California history since Ronald Reagan defeated his father, Edmund G. Brown (who, after defeating Nixon in '62, was considered a lock, in 1966).
