@lavendermagic84 That scared the crap out of me the first time it happened. It never happened with my first ferret but my second one turned out to be a deep sleeper. I thought he was dying and rushed to take him to the doctor but by the time we were heading out the door he started waking. So I read up on it and it turns out that it's normal. The fact his body was so limp scared me so much. I was crying thinking my baby was dying.

@mkt0902 They get more cuddly when they are older. I find if you pick them up every chance you get and put them on your lap or next to you after they fall asleep they start to cuddle up next to you to sleep out of habit. One of my four climbs up into my bed by himself and curls up on the pillow next to me and he's barely 2. I think it also depends on their personality

Ferrets are so cute when they're sleeping. But sometimes it's almost impossible to wake them. I had ferrets that continued snoozing even after I picked them up! :)
