Ubuntu 9.04 on a cheap system

These is the Ubuntu 9.04 on my pc
Pentuim 4 3GHZ
Memory 1gb of ram DDR400
Integrated Graphics : Via Chrome 9 HC IGP (very bad graphics)

This is ubuntu 9.04. I have installed Google Gadgets and the dock bar at top is just a panel.

as i can see in your widget your system use too much cpu...you should set it better...your hardware configuration with linux on is usefull for others ten years!!!!lol

i've got this shit video card... I'm so pissed!! I can't run any game, a Touhou runs at 45 fps!!!! When I finish school exams, i'll make my new computer (videocard - for now - Asus GT440)

@surikan1 uh... considering what else my netbook uses for hardware, the 16gb ssd would be considered amazing. 16gb is PLENTY of space for a computer that doesn't do downloading, doesn't store media, and doesn't play games.

since my last post i'm now running debian with LXDE and all i can say is the performance difference is amazing, and i'm only using about 2-3gb total of my ssd, and about 55mb of ram when fully booted

@chinwildc i try ubuntu 10.04 on my 733MHz intel pentium 3 packard bell designed for windows 98 dude it run super oh yeah its a crappy graphic card so i cant use desktop efects like compiz and watever
