I wouldn't call The L Word as the changer of television history because it was queer as folk that took the first step into the gay 'movie' scene. The L Word came afterwards. Anyway, I adore this show. It taught me very much and even if some characters were really fucked up, I enjoyed it all the way through. And that's what I'm thanking it for. Bette, Tina, Shane, Alice, Tasha, Kit, Max and yes, even Jenny, you will always be in my heart. I love you.

the L word has taught me something. I used to think gays didn't belong in this world, and that they were 'aliens' or that they were very different. But the L word changed that, that I saw they lived the hard lives we did.. and we shouldn't go judge something we haven't experienced.

mmmmm que mal.. a esta serie se le hubiese sacado un poco mas.. pues en fin nuestro mundo es tan amplio misterioso y con bastantes cosas inexplicables que fue una lastima conocer esta serie y saber que terminaria sobre todo para las fans como yo que adoran ver a kate en accion jejejeje love the L word

my favorite L Word scene was also the fight-love at the end of Season 1. and by the way how the camera worked, i sensed that it was shot continously. after watching an interview on JB, my guess was right. that scene was shot continously and it was also JB's favorite scene. it was so difficult to watch because at the beginning because it was almost a rape scene and you can feel both the pain and anguish of tina and bette's guilt and love.

@rikurocker13 God, I just had to express how much your answer touches me, because it's the one point I always hoped that The L Word could achieve : showing people like me as "normal" people, with the same emotions, troubles and joys than everybody else.
