@chess1941 You should look at the video where I explain my grading system. Books I'm not going to keep I give a C or lower. I explain everything in the video.

I'm patzer level, about 1500 in standard games at ICC. The reviews are for people who also aren't very good trying to improve. Some of the books I hate a GM might like, as they are over my head.

I discuss it a little later, but the main reason is that I prefer not to give up a central pawn. I didn't play it well, probably because it requires some subtle and mature intuitions than I have. It seemed more often than not I ended up with a very cramped and uncomfortable position, so I switched to the QGD which I prefer.
