  • My tailgate keeps hitting mine. I can't get it low enough to clear the tailgate. I have not installed it I just set it in there. I have an 08 Tundra.Any Suggestions?

  • @bikermonkey74

We have had other customers install this lightbar in their Tundra with great results. I spoke to my technical manager and he said the reason it may be hitting is because it is not securely mounted. If you have specific questions or Tech Department would be more than happy to answer any other questions you may have or walk you through the install. You can give them a call at 1.877.LED.Glow. If I can answer anything else for you just ask!

  • I have an 2006 Chevy silverado, it's the basic work truck model and I'm looking at getting one of these. Since I don't have any towing adapters on the truck, can I still do this?

  • @Hummerfan87

Yes you certainly can. we include a wiring harness what will allow you to splice the light bar into your existing brake, reverse, and signal wires. If you have any other questions just ask!

  • I just bought a different brand of tailgate lights and connected to the harness on my truck. The right turn signal and half of the brake lights work but the other complete half doesn't work. What's going on? Faulty connection? Should I return the lights for a new set?

  • @hondabigredes

I cannot speak of any other brands and why they are malfunctioning. What I can speak of is the quality of LEDGlow's Tailgate Bars and the one year warranty and free lifetime technical support we offer with all of our kits. Personally I would get a bar you know is going to work first time. Let me know if I can answer anything else for you!

  • If I were to mount these with the tape side facing down towards the ground, would the lights still work as well or almost as well as having the tape side down like it is in the video.

  • @Whitehorze Thanks, i fixed it now. turns out it was a faulty connection from the power source.

  • @hondabigredes Hook the light bar up directly to a power source and see if they work. if yes, then rewire in order to function correctly. If no, then return the faulty units for a refund or exchange for a new kit.

  • @ledglow ok thanks
