this song is very meaningful bcuz it so happens that mahdubala had a relationship w/ dilip at this time and were having some problems bcuz her dad was against their relationship and so she actually cried real tears in this song. The director at the beginning got upset b/c he did not call for it but then after seeing th ereal footage was really happy that it turned out well.

One of the finest compositions of naushadji.lataji rendered as usually superbly with great expression and emotion. madhubala actually cried in this song even though she wasn't supposed to- most probably b/c of problems w/ dilip in real life
