Neil Reid's version is not on You Tube now. His version was recorded in about 1970 and he won the talent show 'Opportunity Knocks'. It was the first record I bought because it was conveniently released to coincided with Mothering Sunday - ahh!

There used to be at least two versions of Neil Reid's song on youtube, one with photos and another from a t.v. appearance. Would be nice for the members to upload them again.

My late sister was a huge fan,I even spoke to Neil on the telephone one day.
Why was his English version of this removed from YouTube?
Can't miss that voice.

This version is by French Canadian singer, Rene Simard, in the early 1970's. Neil Reid's English version has been on youtube.
