Well actually, Gandhi said that the worst thing that the British did was deprive India of arms.

@Yetaxa being homosexual is unnatural all you have to do is put a man and a woman side bi side naked and you can tell they fit together . 2 men or 2 ladies can not make a baby. homosexual is no different than bestiality and this is how we decide things in this country we all vote on it.
-
@Yetaxa call what ever the fuck you want, but Gay people can fuck off, being Straight is part of NATURE, its how we REPRODUCE, if everyone turns gay how are we going to keep the human race going if theres no pregnanceys? Homesexuality is against nature, end of story.

If you read the writings of Madison, you'll find he was VERY nervous about raw majority rule being abused by factions. Jefferson wanted to protect individuals from the influence of government, and by extension of the protections he demanded also guarded minorities from majority rule.
For example, a raw majority cannot suspend writ of habeas corpus. An astronomically high majority is needed to amend the Constitution. And the structure of the Senate favors sparsely populated states.

@SocialistCatgirl Do you like the constitution? Do you think minority should be over the majority? Minoritys get no special treatment like they shouldent, what works out for the sadisfaction for the most people it works out best. That similar with a display with political correctness, and free trade and idea's similar to that distroy this country. The constitution was made when dueling for a problem and slavery was aloud, I dont even think any of what the founding farthers wanted matters much

The Constitution as it is written (as well as its original draft) does not forbid same-sex marriage. And while it doesn't address specific issues, it does dictate the behavior which the government must maintain toward any issue. The equal protection clause requires that if a contract is offered to one segment of the population, unless there is good cause to forbid other segments access they too shall have it.
There are some issues the Constitution forbids referendum on.
Gay people want it. They are the only people it affects and they have a right to have. Everybody else is irrelevant. The idea of putting it up to public vote is ridiculous

Which I don't know why half the elitist's are actually bi-sexual, and plus it creates them more money, marriage fee's etc etc etc, wonder what their intention behind it is, even though I disagree with gay/lesbian but I'd rather the people be free than being controlled like a puppet.
Defend freedom in every way, even if you disagree with it's morals!
