C3 2009: 0-60-0 Event

The first event of the first cheap car challenge back in Feb '09. Below is the description as it was originally entered.

The Cheap Car Challenge 2009 has kicked off, with the 0-60-0 event completed! There are still 14 more events to come, so send an email to cheapcarchallenge@gmail.com if you're in ABQ and would like to volunteer your support (or just watch).

Each participant is allowed up to $500 to buy a car, and then a total of $600 can be spent overall. This includes the addition of safety devices and any performance mods. Then we race 'em like they're absurdly cheap!

Events to come include a quarter mile drag race, off road race, distance jump, slalom, and ten more equally ridiculous challenges.
