The JTAC's 9-line he's dropping for the pilot made me chuckle...the next time I drop a 9-line I'm going to do it in a robot voice.

thank you,for explanation. (..and i really hate these night missions ^^)
-
how to remove glow from hud with night goggles?
-
@1ablefalcon 1) JTAC controller required to see aircraft and target due to close proximity troops who would otherwise be endangered
2) Already explained
3)Used when there is little to no risk of friendly fire, unrestrictive regarding the JTAC controller's situational awareness

@PoliticoELGamer If you refer to the "NEW INFORMATION" message showed on each MFCD, an option appears on OSB 11 called "ACK" or acknowledge, push the adjacent OSB to clear this, this applies to all messages. By the way, the information this refers to is stored on the message page in the MFCD, by default available on the right MFCD under "MSG". Hope this helps.

god If they could integrate something like this into ARMA 3 I think it would just about be the best game capable of existing.

i have a question, how do you turn on night vision, ive hit to many mountains and its starting to annoy me

After you receive an IP Inbound and Wilco it, how do you get the Message alert to go away?
One time he says "type 2 in effect". What does that mean?.
And whats the coordinates system of the JTAC

@1ablefalcon Type 2 CAS is when the JTAC is controlling the attack of visual targets but may not necessarily be able to see the target, attacking aircraft or both.

do you have to adjust the VHF or UHF to contact JTAC or is it setup already in the mission.

@jerry015 Dependds on the comms setup of the JTAC, as defined in the mission editor. In this case, I set the JTAC to communicate on VHF 35.00mhz FM, so I tuned my FM radio to that frequency. The radios are pretty simple once you learn how to use them. It helps to write frequencies down on a notepad if you're playing the campaign missions.

how do you get the cursor in the TAD like that and what exactly where you doing with it.
jerry015 1 year ago
@jerry015 The slew controls the TAD cursor when you set the TAD to sensor of interest. I was looking at grid refs to the waypoints and eventually hooking the mark sent from the JTAC in order to slew the TGP to it.
