I love how they did that in the books it is said as a three pipe night.
-
It's lucky he said "boring" and not "uncool" or anything, in that case we'd probably have some dead fangirls on our hands XD
-
@hightideflyhigh @Basiek211 it's illegal to smoke in public buildings and by doors. That's why it's hard to be a smoker in Britain.
-
It's a three patch problem.

If you close your eyes, this sounds like a p0rn.
If you open your eyes, too.

@hightideflyhigh I can only guess, but I think that in many places in London it is forbidden to smoke. (not a Londoner, so just guessing) So he couldn't smoke almost anywhere. And smoking used to help him think - that's why he says "bad news for brain work".
-
So true.

@detective2099 Don't complain; maybe he'll go unconscious and need some mouth-to-mouth. I volunteer.
-
I don't quite understand why he can't sustain a smoking habit... he says "bad news for brain work"... Can someone explain it?

Nicotine patches. Brilliant way of moving Sherlock from drugs to today's world.
I always liked the little conversation they have where Watson tells Sherlock that he's just seen one of his friends, and Sherlock looks really surprised and says "A friend?!"
Watson: Well, Enemy
Sherlock: Oh... which one?
I hope someone posts that I love that!!
