Faculty Bookwatch guest Michael Denning provides a brief account of Michael Hardt and Antonio Negri's trilogy, Empire, Multitiude, and Commonwealth. Michael Hardt is a Professor at Duke University within the Literature and Romance Studies Programs. He has coauthored a trilogy with Antonio Negri, primarily focusing on political, legal, economic, and social aspects of globalization. Hardt's trilogy has revived academic discussions about alternatives for the current capitalist system. Distinguished panelist Michael Denning, is the William R Kenan Jr Professor of American Studies at Yale University, and the Director of the Initiative on Labor and Culture at Yale University. Faculty Bookwatch was presented by Franklin Humanities Institute and Duke University Libraries.
