He never ever said he was a master in his life. All Alan states are the basic simple facts which we as people (particularly westerners) have forgotten. To say he is an empty man as well with empty words is also a pretty ignorant and stupid viewpoint. The man dedicated his whole life, living and learning, experimenting with different beliefs and religions and then documenting them. He may not have known all the answers but by the looks of it he new a lot more than you will ever know!

religion is words not practise. in moment of practise u leave all words of your own and that of others.so its the end of any written dogma and beliefs.then and only then u can have direct experience without any help or dogma.

I don't know what you mean by leave them and go. Go off with others who share your same beliefs? Isn't that basically religion?

how can u put together proud religions and name this peace. religions itself have not only something common but aslo they are full of limitations of all kinds.and now man who dosent see this because of lack of practise will put this together::)and make something perfect!its more easy to leave them and go !

As far as The Truth, he invites the listener to seek and discover for themselves. But I believe he really wanted to see the world's religions come together with commonality instead of conflict. That would make him a Peacemaker :)

I don't think that Mr Watts is talking about nothingness, it seems to me that he is talking about a special kind of something. Nothing presupposes no energy/stuff/matter, there can be no "power", nothing is nothing.
