He never ever said he was a master in his life. All Alan states are the basic simple facts which we as people (particularly westerners) have forgotten. To say he is an empty man as well with empty words is also a pretty ignorant and stupid viewpoint. The man dedicated his whole life, living and learning, experimenting with different beliefs and religions and then documenting them. He may not have known all the answers but by the looks of it he new a lot more than you will ever know!

I don't think that Mr Watts is talking about nothingness, it seems to me that he is talking about a special kind of something. Nothing presupposes no energy/stuff/matter, there can be no "power", nothing is nothing.

If I go to a doctor who is a man of many words he can help me. Because he can say that I need to get more sleep to solve my health problem. If he uses words that do not show me the way, then obviously the words are not help. You say that a man who doesn't train can't say anything about the right training. Well, I might not be able to perform a push up, but I certainly know how to do a push up. And I can still describe to people what I cannot do because I've seen it. That is what Alan has done

if you are ill and go to docter who is just man of many words does it help u?no, if he uses just words and cant show u the way out then is this help? alan words are empty inside anyone who thinks this is help must take to notice that man who dosent train cant say about thing abut right training.anything he can say is just another misery.real help is to wake up people of listening bundle of self created concepts .and put ones mind and heart into real practice .

Even if what you say about Alan Watts is true, he is the one who puts everything together better than most. And by doing this, he has made a great impact in peoples lives and therefore, was a positive influence. Your comments just seem to be pretentious, and are just unnecessary. The point was that he helped many people, even with his 'acting'. That is good enough. You should not judge a person by calling them empty when you do not know them. At least his words where full.

i understand that u are afraid real things and dont want to look them but why i must obey u. if u cant look dont look!look somwere else! so the real problem is not i but your fear. truth is a thing not no thing. and it is more easy to look no thing than to real thing.

I understand it's considered normal to provoke people and start arguments on the internet, but can you please do it somewhere else?
