  • @gettfc Maybe because "military communications" are encrypted. Shit, I might know something as a 25S-17D Tactical Satellite Communications Systems Operator and Maintainer in the United States Army. I guess you probably know more about it than I do. These "military transmissions" aren't military and if they are they are probably range control officers doing radio checks with safety officers on mortar ranges back in the states. And your little "hand held" devices are about 30 years behind us.

As a 25S-17D Tactical Satellite Communications Systems Operator and Maintainer in the United States Army I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT YOU WOULD KNOWN ABOUT THIS STUFF ,I GUESS YOU WILL HAVE TO USE YOU GOOGLE SKILLS TO FIND OUT !!!!!!

  • What makes you think this is a military satellite anyway lol?

  • google it ,i did the transmission is analog and not coded

  • Sounds like they're using DTMF codes in some parts.

  • @pindrop

You just think it is civilian or commercial radio because you're an american who cant handle the idea of a mexican owning your sat. AHAHHAH stupid fat american.

  • @burtskite What satellite are you on that covers a foot print that wide and tall? Obviously a COMMERCIAL satellite. You couldn't even tell a military satellite from a civilian one if it landed on your head. Next your going to tell me you can pick up "spy satellite real time video" with a video baby monitor and a dish network antenna and a cheap LNB. This is what you are basically telling me lol

  • @burtskite Then that answers definitively that it is not "military traffic" so thank you lol. You can monitor people bouncing radios all day off of commercial birds or any bird for that matter. I think "Intercepting military xmissions" is a little *big* stretch

  • @burtskite ...Shake my head. The only thing more sad than thinking you know what your talking about is having someone who works with the equipment tell you that you are wrong and still you blast on about how your right. All "military traffic" is encrypted so unless its a third world country or just people shooting the breeze over a civilian satpot than sorry folks, its not us. Your 20 year old tech can't even handle the freq or modulation used on day to day commercial speak, not to mention mil

  • @pindrop coz they are magic? That or you have never used a scanner b4 :)
