  • bro how have the samoans copied the maori haka?? they have totally different actions and words...as for the island brothers in america its just not right man...i respect the haka and maori culture big time but its just embarrasing seeing the americans trying to do it and claim it...stupid

  • Not sure if you're asking in general about the "Somoan Haka" or about this specific performance by VocalFX. VocalFX is a men's chorus from Wellington (that's the Wellington in New Zealand).. no Americans here, although this performance was in Denver.

  • Yea its too bad that both of you are wrong and they are from new zealand... read up before you judge

  • Many Hawaiians have great respect for the Maori culture. So you can't judge all Hawaiians as 'stealing' the Haka. Its great that such a sacred ritual of the Maori can be appreciated by the Hawaiians. Afterall, they're distant cousins. The Polynesians traveled all over the place; starting from the Cook Islands, then on to Hiti Nui, the Society Islands, the Marquesas islands, Rapa Nui, Hawaii, and finally south to Aotearoa.

Great respect to all the Pacific cultures.
