Having not heard this song in several years, I'd mostly forgotten how it goes until RyanMcGovern on YouTube gave me a timely reminder.

This cover is very different to the original - particularly in terms of chord choices... I've listened to other versions of the song on YouTube now and thought "oh yes, that's how it goes. How could I POSSIBLY forget that guitar part".

That said, I'm glad my amnesia has given me a chance to do something original with the song...

Not spectacular singing but not horrible eiter but The "there is a light and it never goes out" at the end is just terrible wailing.

Your version makes me want to slit my wrists and bleed out and die on the beach of some rocky, gray, arctic beach. That's not necessarily an insult.
