In the documentary, former pilots of the Yugoslavian (Serbia&Montenegro) Air forces share personal accounts of their engagement in the defense of their country during the NATO aggression in 1999.
Some of the veteran MiG29 pilots share their battle experience and describe the general conditions in the Serbian air forces back then.
This is a personal account of several Serbian pilots who courageously risked their lives when they went into battle against an enemy far more technically superior, and despite being significantly outnumbered.
The documentary also explains how exactly two American NATO pilots (one of them Lt. Col. Mike "Dozer" Shower) shot down two Serbian MiG29s in the area of eastern Bosnia, killing one pilot. Other surviving pilot is one of the film's participants.

One may ask themselves why did the Serbian pilots even accept to fly planes which had been neglected for many years, without being properly maintained or updated, which caused them to be technically faulty and almost useless in battle.
Still, they made NATO pilots have their hearts in their mouths.

I would also like to pay my last respects to the late Ilya Arizanov, one of the film's participants, who passed away recently due to coronary disease that had initially been caused by his war-time experience.
He and all other heroes that died for their country will never be forgotten.
May they rest in peace.

Thanks for the vid man!!. nice documentary. The pilots very detailed recollection of their experience and feelings of the events/situation is great and also I feel sad. Where's the sequel?.

@stealthiscool Yes there were refugees, but both Serbs and Albanians were running away from bombs in the first place! Bombs that USA and NATO threw over Serbia killing thousands of innocent civilians.They used all available resources including media propaganda to persuade the world that Serbs were terrorizing Albanians.The truth was that Serbian law enforcement had to suppress the terrorist AL-Queida linked KLA who had done attrocities against civilians and even Serbian policemen!
