  • No, actually, by the timing, The Seekers covered it. Bruce Woodley (Seekers) and Paul Simon (Simon & Garfunkel) co-wrote it, but The Cyrcle were first to actually record it and release it in 1966 after Paul Simon offered it to them. The Seekers released their version on the Georgy Girl lp later in 1966, so technically, The Cyrcle version is the original release, making the Seekers version the cover. One of those strange situations where the composers don't get first dibs, I guess.

  • I adore Judith's voice, but this track features the guys up front & it's nice to hear that too...

  • Seekers' songs are gr8 ! Love the harmony!

  • I wish I had Judith singing in my group in the 60's, hard to find a women with a more beautiful voice that could back up and sing harmony with anyone (Anne Murray another great at harmony).

  • This group is timeless ty for posting there beautiful songs!

  • Is there a DVD with more videos of the Seekers?

Thank you for letting us seeing the past when we were so strong, brave, and optimistic.

  • But notice how Judith's sparkling voice blends in with the guys'.

  • I agree it's nice to hear the lads singing although with a voice like judiths you can't blame them for letting her sing most of the songs.
