@imdbrod ok I was going to disagree, however I listened to the whole thing with my eyes closed and I concede you are correct sir, he sounded to me, as @MrTreknation alluded to, like he couldn't quite hear himself so he was being extra careful or short...don't really know how else to explain it, hopefully you get it.

i am a huge david cook fan. wanted him to win since his audition. but this is not the song for him. his voice doesn't go with it. but i don't care. we all saw his amazing side. i have faith he'll have something phenomenal waiting for us to hear :)

i will never , never , get tired of listening to david cook's music, genre fits his personality, really deserving to be called music icon.... thanks american idol for bringing david to us... hurray

I love David Cook as much as the next person who thinks David Cook is a total beast, but parts of this song were just hard to listen to... It's a good song, but his voice just didn't work 2 or 3 times, in my opinion.

@imdbrod .....finally a comment i agree with....he was pitchy big time on this one....I don't know if his ear monitor wasn't working or what...but it wasn't as good as I thought it should have been...sorry Cook fans, just an observation.
