  • YEA HEARD A LOT OF BAD THINGS ABOUT ASUS TALKED TO A SALESMAN AT MICROCENTER WHEN ASKED WHAT BOARDS COME BACK THE MOST HE SAID ASUS BUT HE STATED THAT COULD BE BECAUSE THAT WHAT THEY SELL THE MOST OFF I HAD TO RMA A GIGABYTE BOARD THEY WERE FANTASTIC EVEN THOUGH I BENT THE SOCKET PINS IN PREPARING IT FOR SHIP EXSPLAINING TO THEM MY LEFT ARM WAS PARALYZED THEY REPLYED TO ME WITH WE UNDERSTAND AND A NEW SOCKET WOULD BE INSTALLED BOARD CAME BACK POSTED FINE IM USEING IT NOW

  • @asus3571 Whoa dude, caps-lock overkill! Glad your board got fixed though.

  • I had a P5N72-T Premium motherboard that started crashing randomly. I sent it in for RMA and they jammed a screwdriver in the corner and denied the claim because of physical damage. There is no possible way the damage could have been caused any other way. The damage was not there when I sent it out.

  • @PossessedWarrior Did you make sure they sent you the same board based off of the board's serial number?

  • @jabcreations Yes, It's the same board.

  • @PossessedWarrior That's the problem with Asus, they flood the market with products and I can't say they aren't well thought out products a lot of the time however they simply do not care about their customers otherwise we wouldn't get treated like we won't be loyal customers. Gigabyte has never done me wrong and none of their boards going all the way back to socket 754 have died.

  • Just in the spirit of fairness, I have never bought an Asus motherboard. However, my Asus netbook has been extremely awesome, no problems.

  • @jabcreations Good to know as I purchased a Gigabyte board to replace it. Windows is having trouble with it but thats Windows. I can fix that. The board is fine so far.
