What parents need to know about walmart skateboards

Read the description.

My finger nail is black b/c I smashed it, it's not nail polish.

-Parents, i hope this helps you in your quest to find the perfect beginner board for your kid, i know its quite repetitive but i needed to drive the point home.

-Kids, show this video to your parents if you're interested in getting started skateboarding.

-walmart boards are deathtraps-
The deck's are weak and misshapen
The wheels are plastic and slippery
The bearings are cheap and rust quickly
The trucks are plastic and weak
The hardware has no locking mechanism the bolts are lost quickly as a result

-sporting goods store boards-
a step up from walmart boards, certainly not the best choice, but they're a lot safer than the alternative.

@Brahcolli Check again. My Dad watches more Youtube than I do. I catch him quoting Jake and Amir all of the time. Besides, I told the kids to show their parents, and that has nothing to do with the parents finding it themselves, anyone can watch a video that someone else pulled up for them.

The reason they suck is due to the fact that the children in Malaysia, do not make them as well as the children that make name brand boards in Vietnam, China etc............it just defers with the region

Hey can someone help. I've had a Tony Hawk huck jam board I got from walmart for about a year. I can sort of Ollie but the deck doesn't have that great of pop. Should I get a new board?
