@LightningBoltz Suicides are always a problem in the military and always will be, just like any other high stress job. Leadership can't force us to use the services that are available to us, we have to take the initiative to get the help we need. I can tell you first hand that suicide awareness is something we hear about on a daily basis.

This is a good movie. Its a weird blend of patriotism of our soldiers and criticism of the iraq war. The whole thing pretty much comes down to the veterans trying figure "why are we in iraq?"
-
@aftamath86 Yeah, they're doing such a great job helping the soldiers that there were more suicides than combat fatalities last year.

@thetruthnomorelies Oil men and Bankers. Poor die for the rich, same as it always has been throughout history. Nothing has changed about humanity.

@MrKhanYay Shut the fuck up? Why should I? Because some moron who apparently can't read and thinks they are an internet bad ass told me to? How about this, YOU shut the fuck up and read all comments before posting and making yourself look like a moron. By the way, I can assure you that I'm not too young to watch anything. Based on your lack of writing ability, however, I daresay you are probably too stupid to try and hold an educated conversation, so I'll leave it at that.
-
@aftamath86 Dude shut the fuck up. If you don't know the purpose for making this movie you are too young to even think about watching it. They didn't make this movie in attempts to weaken the US army. They made it to show us a 1st person perspective view of what you would go through if you were in Iraq. And all the hardships that follow. It's that fucking simple. Get that through your thick head.

@QBisbest Spark a debate? Not at all. I am a grown man and am fully capable of admitting when someone makes a valid point, which you have done. PTSD IS indeed a problem, but I can also vouch for the fact that the military does not just dismiss it as portrayed in this video. Most bases have a variety of services available for members who are having stress related issues, not to mention base and unit chaplains who are pretty much required by law to keep counseling sessions totally confidential.
-
@aftamath86 Yes, and asking me that would spark a debate wouldn't it? I'll just leave you to figure that out for yourself. I wouldn't call it whinning when you come back from war with PTSD and the military refuses to give you treatment because they consider it a, "Personal disorder" that had nothing to do with the war. I don't know, I think I would be a tad bit pissed in their situation.
-
@QBisbest Well if that's the case then why don't you explain it to me, smart guy? All I see when I watch this video is a bunch of people whining about stuff that they should have already expected when they took the oath of enlistment/office.
Ace, you're a world class dumb ass.
