@dxfreight You're right! I left Tanzania 45 years ago, aged 16, & miss it more than ever. Good thing- with kids grown up & through uni, we can travel, & been to E. Africa twice in the last 5 months. Getting involved building a top-rate school on 50 acres at Bagomoyo, off southern tip of Zanzibar. Education in Tanzania is poor, & hope to make a (small) difference. BTW, we also tried the antipodes - went to live & work in New Zealand for 3 years, but it didn't recapture Africa for us. Jimu

Beautiful version! Brings a bit of sadness to my heart when I hear it. Both because of the incredibly moving lyrics about love and loss and because it reminds me of my dad who passed away in 1981.
