A montage film, capturing the six regional DAISI workshops which took place across Devon during February and March 2011.
Over 100 young people participated in the 'Vital Spaces Workshops' which explored physical theatre, gesture, and personal story. The participants devised original pieces, which were then performed at a Showcase, held at Roborough Studios in Exeter.
The programme was created and run by DAISI, the Devon Arts in Schools Initiative, and facilitation support was provided by the University of Exeter.
The project then evolved into the Devon Youth Theatre Company, a select group of young participants who continued on to perform at the Exeter Northcott in April 2011.
