Yeah. Ozain, you described it perfectly. That's actually how Bes died for me. He was coming into the bar, and was walking past the 100 Rads entrance. He stopped, but didn't go into alert mode. The STALKERs were all inside (You know how in AMK STALKERs can panic and will run away? Well, yeah. They all paniced into the bar and arena) and Bes just stood there. The bloodsucker came up behinde him. he never heard or saw it. Poor soul. It swiped him over the head and feasted on his body.

Which version are you using?

In AMK 1.4, I've never seen an NPC walk into an anomaly. Well, only mutants. And one STALKER, but he was firing at distant bandits and not really paying attention to his surrondings.

i like their resistance bonus actually, it makes you fear the bloodsuckers without making them game-breaking

What is better AMK or OL? AMK is annoying me atm, the whole weapon drop thing. Plus the fact that npc's wonder in to anomalies as if they were scented with lavender.

Latest patch gives you option to weaken the bastards. Which is alright, since human enemies alone are right pain in the ass. Is it me, or are they way harder than in vanilla Stalker? Close encounter is like 50% chances of instant death (boom headshot), they've got reflexes. And you're basically toasted if you have to manage relatively close combat with three enemies.

Bloodsuckers on AMK mod are fucking horrible to kill! Is it possible to kill them with guns? I just fucking knife them now, its easier now.

Omg LucanJacups that would be nasty... I can just imagine the bloodsucker hiding in the dark buildings in the day, and then at night there is a poor unsuspecting stalker walking to the bar, and in one swift moment the bloodsucker leaps from the shadows, kills him... and drags him back to the lair.

Damn, when I get amk mod I am never gonna feel safe in the bar again :'(
