I can't get my staffy to do this. He won't hold on to anything. If I take a toy while he has it and attempt to lift him up...he'll let go once his front paws leave the floor. Any suggestions?

@Mrepifany Not locked just a strong willed breed. Remember its not the size of the dog in the fight its the size of the fight in the dog.

it is a myth A staffs jaw is no different to any other dog. the tricvk is they can lift up their nose whilst they bit thus letting them breath and bite at the same time. its all due to breeding. plus they are strong and determined dogs.

So these dogs can lock their jaws I see... I thought it was a myth!!!

@jola0312 How is it cruel to let your dog play ? Greyhounds want to run, blood hounds want to track, bull terriers want to hang onto things, its how they play, its not cruel, anyone who says it is cruel is a judgemental fool.
