@jsheppard53  No, I'm sorry, I don't speak for anyone on here who comments. But I do feel this kid was very mentally unstable. It goes way beyond trying salvia. Many people have tried it and have not commit suicide. I feel for the family, and the kid himself. But he was not in the right state of mind when trying this chemical. It is not meant for everyone, and it is meant to be taken maturely, just like drinking alcohol and getting drunk. R.I.P. to him, but the media is really wrong about this.

Hallucinogens are completely fine if the user has a sound mind. If you have mental illness; bi-polar, schizophrenia, anxiety, ANYTHING do not do any sort of Hallucinogen.

The only reason the parents blamed it on that is because they are ignorant and sad. If he had a drink it wouldve been that if it was weed that if oxycontin that. It gave them an excuse that they could tell themselves to make it feel better. Sad state of affairs this is, and ive tried it and will never do it again. Its a dumb felling i dont quite enjoy but fear.
