Our megane 1.6 16v year 2001 have only 81.000 km. Average consumption is 6,1 l/100 km

no nikilo..im using megane 2 sedan 1.6 16V..Output up to 240 km..

@demin2609 I gues the speed on the meter is just 210. My did the same on flat road. I's just that the meter may overdrive as little as just over 5% to cause 10 km/h overrating. According to spec it reaches 195 km/h, so it's fully believable that this can be on flat road.

it isnt because speedometer goes up slow, if you lift 1 wheel up, the speedometer will practically jump over 260 km/h faster than a Veyron :)

Sorry to say but is clearly that speed is obtained downhill!
i have 1.8 16v and topspeed in a flat road is maximum 199 km/h tested with a GPS, on board it looks like 205 (it is the error of speedometer), and this speed is tested and retested!
The maximum power is achieved at 5750 rpm, with other words, the car wont accelerate in 5'th gear over that value, due to air friction...

in technical data write 183. And that's real speed. you do not have more than 183 in fact.Renault Sport means going with a 400km / h because it has twice as many horses power as you . you make me laugh, You and others like you with megane 1.6 16 v classic that say they went with 210 )))))))))))))). It`s your opinion, but the tech data for my car is 198 km\h.
