@sgal88 - The Christian God DOES tolerate things he did not intent. Why does he tolerate YOU and not a gay person? Through Christ, he tolerates both you and me.

@lucasboden Yes, God is love but it doesn't mean He tolerates something he did not intent

My parents found out that I am gay when I left my yahoo mail open on their computer when I visited. My mom freaked out and lashed out with Bible verses and speaking in tongues (charismatic koreans) in front of me and told me she would commit suicide if I "came out" You know what? I didn't feel any shame. I felt more shameful and embarrassed for her that believing in a God who is suppose to be perfect in love and compassion would evoke such hate and zero tolerance.

I'm Korean and live in the US. Came out to my mom couple of months ago and she cried but was fine with it. She was just worried about how the society treats homosexuals. But I didn't tell her the whole truth. I'm not really gay, I'm trans....

I'm glad that these well known Korean based channels like expatkerri and simonandmartina are focusing on the LGBTQ scene in Korea. It brings light to those that are gay and are looking into going to Korea.

@krnriceboi619 ~~ i asked my friend, and he said they would say "hyung", and that no guys say "oppa" to other guys.
