  • Yea, we were thinking it was the aftermarket return valve so we put the stock one back in.

  • Sure is

  • I bet you could fit a couple more gauges on the dashboard.

  • whats with all the gauges? they're monitoring the egt's, boost, volts, ambient air temperature, time, the stock market, north korea's threat level, the debt ceiling, seismic faults, the growing waist of queen latifa...

  • @RM250D8rzr your spelling isn't "purfect either

  • Holy boost

  • @rangaman86 but the front ends on the fords do tend to hold up better the dodge front ends but there not purfect bullet proof by no means.

  • @rangaman86 not allways. i know guys with fords early 6.0s that have replaced there ball joints twice in the same millage and mine are just starting to go.. same millage. and the ford was looked after my truck i do alot of 4x4 and hard roads. 170k and there starting to make noise now. truck is an 04

  • wow watch that egt gauge peg out... who would have thought too much fuel in a cummins...

  • Holy crap that's crazy.

  • @moparenthuz I've had it built for just under 2 years. It costs about $2500 to have it removed built and installed and thats including the builders torque converter good to 350hp. I plan on upgrading to a billet input shaft, billet flex plate and billet tripple disc converter. My advice is find a local builder and do the suncoast heavy duty rebuild with a performance valve body and billet torque converter. That'll handle up to about 450hp if not used for competitions.

  • @rangaman86 Well im sure everyone can agree that almost everything new nowadays is junk. How long have you had your tranny built and how much was it because my tranny is slipping and everyone told me to start beating it up then rip it out for a 5 speed or a suncoast auto but rebuilding my 47RE would be much cheaper. give me all your details.

  • @moparenthuz Ya, talk to a guy with the new venture 4500.. They aren't as tough as you think! Even the 6 speeds aren't that tough. A built auto is better than a standard any day of the week!! My truck has a built 47RE and its unstoppable. The truck also has a dana 70 rearend. The frontend in the dodges is absolutely horrible compared to the fords. Like I said, imo ford has the better truck out of the big three.
