This is my video Introduction of my journey to interlocking my hair from the roots. I have very tiny, synthetic Marley braidsby the Janet Collection, I hot water dipped the braided sections of my hair to give it the tight waves that you see. I clipped the ends to get rid of the most of the frizziness from the tip of the braids....

  • Love your hair! I started my natural look 2 months. I'm going to start my braid lock journey in about a month. Thank you for your information

  • @msmena313 ..... You are welcome... just paying it forward!!

  • Wishing you the best on your loc journey. I started with braids (not extensions) and interlocking and it worked out well for me for years...now, I'm semi-freeforming for a few months and then will decide if I will interlock/palm-twist the next round...nice to meet you!

    *Hugs*

  • @mylaylay18 ... Thank you.. it is so exciting starting this journey and seeing progress....Always nice to have control of something.. :)

  • Thank you Jonsgurl... I feel you..lol.. I do not have a small head myself so that is why I am taking the short cut.. as of yet these are just micros I have installed but as they grow I am locking the root until it gets to a certain length then I will remove the synthetic hair...I look forward to going through this journey with you... Stay well as well...

  • Thank you Chiwala....

  • Your locs are fantabulous!! I hope mine come out as beautiful as yours. I want braidlocs because my head is much too big and awkwardly shaped to have my hair that short and that open! Lol I'm going to follow you and as soon as I get my camera, I'll let you see my progress!! Thanks for sharing!! Be well!!
