iphone 3g front panel repair with ifixit.com kit - FAIL part 1 or 2

ifixit.com front panel not working properly proof #1

Followed the instructions on the website step by step, being really careful the entire time. Also used online youtube guides to help. When I put everything back together. I noticed the bottom screen became unresponsive to my touch and so I could not unlock my iPhone. Redid everything step by step again and again, and I even tried restoring the phone to factory settings thinking just maybe it would be a software problem.

After multiple failed attempts. I tried my old, broken front panel, that's even more torn up now, and surprisingly it worked perfectly! So someone please explain what is going on here. I am convinced that I was given a faulty product to begin with from ifixit.com.

the top one is just glass the lcdd is the touchscreen!! i think

your ribbon is not on good thats why your screen is white
