it looks like the knee and the shoulder are so close to hitting at the same time this call could have gone either way with merit. The knee certainly wasn't deliberate.

That was knee on knee, their legs hit before the shoulder, and people bitching cause he went down is because he was in the middle of avoiding the hit, and keeping control of the puck, richards knocked him off balance, if you played hockey you'd know, but half you people play NHL 10 and think you're experts.

what knee? he went for a clean body check, kovalev tried to dodge and caught his shoulder. the only reason it looked like a knee was because kovalev's leg went flailing out when he tumbled down.
