I bought some LED strips from skiesmall.com and wanted to show how they where constructed and how LED strips work in general. There are lots of short films about it, but nothing really clear or good quality. So I hope this film can provide in that regard.

The second part of the video will be how I have applied the LED strips in my bedroom for some nice and subtle lighting. But it will also be applicable for other rooms like a living room, etc.

The parts all together are be bought from 2 different Chinese suppliers. All the information will be in the films. Please enjoy, and any questions or comments are welcome!

All filmed with a Sony NEX-5
Music : Yoav - We all are dancing (peter luts remix)

  • 2 strips + controller where 100 euro including shipping. You can find cheaper, but I wanted them to be IP65 epoxy coated, 60 5050 LED's per meter (not 30) and with white background and 3M tape on the back. The strips are both 5 meters in length.
