Negative ! I am sure he is making a decent living with his ministry today but it is nothing compared to back in the 80's when his ministry was one of the if not largest ministries at the time. Fact of the matter, Jimmy could have given up a long time ago due to the trials and tribulations that he suffered through. Before you run your mouth ( harisxotic ) trying walking in Brother Jimmy's shoes.

In closing, Jimmy Swaggart could have given up ( Ministry Wise ) a long time ago but instead he chose to keep pressing on.

That is admirable and should be an example to others that sure you can beat down and be thrown to the wolves but you can also get back up and continue to fight the good fight.

Because bottom line we are all sinners and have fallen short from the Glory of God !

I don't feel that Jimmy Swaggart is a fraud.

One would assume that his church and surrounding property, ie Blue Bonnet Towers and Son Life Radio Building have been long paid off from the days when he was pulling in lots of money.

Although, I don't feel they are frauds and I do feel that some in the ministry are angry, tired and maybe frustrated.

However, the ministry has been through a lot and I am sure it takes everything they got in them to continue to minister.

The reason why I say leave Brother Swaggart alone already is because you can only beat a dead horse so many times.

The man has continued to press on and press on and that is admirable. His ministry is still reaching people all over the world.

As a matter of fact, God placed Jimmy Swaggart ministries on my heart. So I did an internet search and acourse read all that happened 20 years ago but I also found his ministry website.

Yes, it was shocking that Jimmy basically told his congregation to bug off and that it was none of their business.

However, as a mature christian, you can see that Jimmy was beaten down and left for the wolves so its easy to see how one would make a statement like he did.

I'm not saying it was the right thing to say. I'm just saying that I understand why he made the statement.

I think what we have learned from the whole Jimmy Swaggart scandal is how powerful sin really is.

Anytime, one is doing a great thing and touching people all around the world and leading people to Jesus the enemy is going to attack through sin because that is one area in which man is vulnerable SIN !

Once sin consumes somebody like it did Jimmy we can see the devastation that it can do.

You know the way I look at it is that you need to lay off the doughnuts. Swaggart brought this on himself when he attacked all other preachers at that time while claiming how holy he is.

total agree with you brother, poeple dont relieze how they let the enemy use them to bring up the past, but i belive its been covered under the blood,people need to forgive alrady n be healed, & let go. I love Jimmy swaggart since i was a teeager when i first heard him. yea it was the time where he failed in on area.But my heart stil went out to him & his family. To this day! me & my family till enjoy his ministry. GOd BLess you!
